Cute! I'll bet the dogs love the attention. (They should have curled the mane, though.)
ReplyDeleteOh, Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThat dog is hoping against hope that it'll be one of those dogs that gets to eat its owner after a lonely heart attack.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Liz. Dogs do not deserve this treatment.
ReplyDeleteA neighbor of mine dyed her poodle pink a couple months ago. My poodle didn't seem to notice and just wanted to play. Turns out the dog loved being pink. Poodles love attention and everyone was stopping to pet her and ask questions.
ReplyDeleteSome truely creative sculptures have been made out of poodle hair in the past. The dogs don't mind being doted on as all the touches are made. After the show, most dogs are shaved down almost to the skin. So it's not a permanent modification.
Thanks, Miriam, for the information.
ReplyDelete@ Barbwire and Liz i guess i will enlighten you on your ignorance. This dog is brushed multiples times each and every day. You will never understand the amount of attention each dog gets to accomplish this. I will also tell you that this owner has this dog on the BEST DOG FOOD MONEY CAN BUY. Now you tell me that is bad treatment. This animal is loved very much and i guarantee even goes every where with the owner. Next there is the talent alone that this takes. It is truly a art to do this. As a groomer myself I assure you if the owner was mistreating this dog in any manner the dog would not allow this to be done.
