26-toed cat doesn't qualify for Guinness fame


The world record for feline polydactyly is 28 toes.  But this cat's anomaly did save an animal shelter.  Full details at The Telegraph - where you can also learn how many toes a normal cat has (it's not 20).

    My friend had a cat with a lot of extras...he named the cat Liberace.
