Two interesting charts about the U.S. economy

The top graph shows the number of people working part-time for economic reasons.  The lower one depicts long-term unemployment.  Note these data go back 40-50 years.  Click to enlarge.

  1. Interesting. It suggests that it will take 10-15 years before unemployment reaches a low again. But it also suggests that the next recession will be 10-15 years away.
