The top one (from "The Three Princesses of Whiteland") is captioned ""you'll come to three Princesses, whom you will see standing in the earth up to their necks, with only their heads out"  - makes me want to read the story.

The second is from "The Shepardess and the Chimney Sweep," and the third from "The Arabian Nights."
