According to the Reddit discussion, "This was actually a legitimate search, we did kabobs yesterday and mistakenly left the lid of the grill open overnight! It rained and the electric starter got wet so we weren't sure if there is a special procedure for making sure all the parts in the grill are alright. We ended up just lighting it with a lighter to dry everything off."
