One of my fondest memories is that of spending six months working in London, during which time I explored the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew almost every week. They apparently have added a new feature - a walkway elevated eighteen metres above the groud which allows visitors to walk through the forest canopy. Accompanying the elevated walkway is a ‘Rhizotron’, an underground viewing area illustrating tree root biology. Further details and more photos at the link.
