Budapest has long been renowned for its health spas and thermal springs. Now it has been discovered that many of these are connected underground by a huge "thermal lake," access to which has been found via a Turkish bath.
Divers are currently exploring the lake (?will there be artifacts found on the bottom), and the city is planning to ask for World Heritage status and may open the lake to the public.
The BBC does not allow its videos to be embedded, but you can see their brief video report at their YouTube channel.
