This is the time of year for blog awards, and most of the attention is understandably on the "Bloggies" (see below). Less well-known are the awards for blogs in China. Most Chinese blogs are of course in Chinese, but there is a separate set of awards for blogs written in English. Their web page is here.The host site for the awards - Chinalyst - appears to be an aggregator, with excerpts from other blogs.
The Chinalyst is an informal community for China related English blogging. The goals of the community are to encourage the growth and development of English content about China and to serve as a platform for finding and discussing up-to-date China related information and news. Chinalyst provides a steady stream of updates from member blogs writing about China.The award-winning English-language Chinese blogs this year were in the categories Business Law, General, News, Personal, Technology, and Travel, with three finalists and one winner listed in each category.
