You will probably recognize the tales for which these engravings were created. (if not, just pass your mouse over the images). What a fantastically talented artist.
I wonder if this effect can be achieved with Photoshop. I just bought a graphic tablet- god, it is so hard to get used to after a lifetime with a mouse. These engravings are so wonderful. Thanks, as always, for finding the most interesting things on the net.
