"What you probably have is collapsed comb. This is something you should take care of soon as it is very likely it can get worse. I remove bees for living and something like this usually requires that either the outside or inside walls be opened and the bees and comb removed.Advice from Schizno on a Reddit thread.
I removed a dead hive the other day, leaking honey into the wall socket. It had died out over the winter and all summer long wax moths ate the comb up releasing honey. By the time I got to it, it was a mess of writhing maggots, cocoons, feces and gelled honey.
Get it taken care of sooner than later."
