    Ugh! Perhaps my taste in alcoholic beverages is not adequately refined. I'll take a vodka martini--hold the mayo.

    My guess is, these were invented for part of a cocktail challenge-- "Drink all of our shots in a year and win a shirt!"

    They are the drinks of people with something to prove (and marginally-free-shirt enthusiasts)
