Australian officials are looking for someone to be a "caretaker" for Hamilton Island off the Queensland coast. Video at this link. Candidates must be willing to swim, snorkel, dive, and sail.
The new recruit will work for just 12 hours a month. Duties include feeding some of the hundreds of species of fish and collecting the island's mail. For this they will pay you $150,000/year, and you have the use of a free three-bedroom villa with pool, and a golf cart to go around visiting the fish and turtles. In terms of relevant qualifications...
The caretaker will also need to prepare a blog...I'm off. Ciao...
:-) You'll have competiton. Several of my SCU students are applying!
