I lived in the north (Pennsylvania and Ohio) for 38 years and I've been in some of those driving situations where upward, forward motion slowly changes to a backward, turning slide. Nothing like doing a complete 360 on an interstate in a snowstorm.
Between the "oh nos" and the cringing, I really laughed in sympathy with everyone in those videos. I do not miss the snow and ice. And like Michael, I fondly remember my studded snow tires.
This is why I like my state to allow studded snow tires from November to April.

I think I sprained my ankle just watching that.
