Hart Island is New York's "potter's field"


It's hard to believe that 800 THOUSAND bodies have been buried on this island in mass graves over the past 150 years.

    This is just one of many reasons why I love al-jazeera. Even their "fluff" stories are filled with moments of insight and thought-provoking information, unlike the shrill, infantile, shaved-to-a-soundbite infotainment that passes for news in North America.
