Word for the day: anecdata

"Anecdata" is an obvious portmanteau of "anecdotal" + "data," and Wiktionary says it has been in use since the 1980s, but I don't remember having encountered it until I saw this headline in The Guardian yesterday:
Are men really avoiding Little Women, or is it just overblown anecdata?
Seems like a good word.  And this morning a Google search turned up a website called Anecdata, which provides a forum for citizen scientists to share their data (see screencap above).
