Listen to Warren Buffett. He's speaking to Cathy Baron Tamraz, CEO of the company Business Wire, at a luncheon in honor of the company's 50th anniversary. (The comment in the title of this post begins at about the 2:00 mark.)
For those who say that billionaires pay an excessive amount of taxes, I always ask "What percentage of wealth do they CONTROL?" It's not the amount of money any given individual pays in taxes, it's Control verses wealth.
And for those who say that billionaires (and millionaires) create jobs, I ask "What about the members of the NBA, the NFL and MLB? How many jobs have THEY produced?"
The solution? Eliminate the tax code.
ReplyDeleteEveryone pay the same %,no decutions for things that make yuo a profit, problem solved.
