This is not a chupacabra
It's a malnourished primate with partial alopecia, discovered in Henan Province, China and given food. Had it been seen in Texas, it probably would have been shot as a "chupacabra."
Had it been shot in Texas, the family would all take their photos with it as some sort of grand accomplishment and posted it on the internet with great pride.
Texas or not, I'd probably reach for my gun if I saw that approaching out of the night. Yuck. Hopefully it's in good hands and looking better these days.
It's NOT a monkey, although it is a primate. Looks like a loris.
