Bluest. Tongue. Ever.
A blue-tongued lizard. When I see images like this I'm tempted to start a separate blog just to store images of the color blue in nature; it could include some really striking photos.
I wish we had some of these in our garden, I hear that they help keep snakes away.

Looks like a blue-tongued skink, Pretty common in pet stores around here(Rochester, NY), but I doubt they'd do much about the snakes.
ReplyDeleteWell if you ever get bitten by a blue toung lizard you will certainly know the difference!
