The premature aging of U.S. presidents
Obviously there are lots of pix of Lincoln this week. I'll add this one from Shorpy to the blog because of the observation that it illustrates his aged appearance. He was 56 years old when this was taken.
Others have observed the facial changes in President G.W. Bush during his tenure and have predicted the same for Obama. Lincoln admittedly had a unusual facial physiognomy to start with, but look at the photo above (click for fullscreen), and tell yourself...
"56 years old..."

yea that job does age a man quickly, I suppose it would a woman also.
