I am gobsmacked that rattlers congenitally joined at the head could hunt well enough to survive to adulthood (unless they were handraised at the museum?). They have now been surgically separated; story at the link.

ReplyDeleteThey were conjoined at the head, and although the surgery seemed successful at first, one of the snakes apparently was weaker and has died....
