I posted a brief biography of this lady last year. When American Airlines photographed its first class of graduating stewardesses, she was fifth from the left. In those days airlines treated their stewardesses royally, transporting them from work by limo to the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago and The Plaza in New York during layovers; photos were taken for press releases to publicize this glamorous new profession to other young women.
The final photo shows her earlier this year getting a break from the bleak winter, admiring the orchids at the Conservatory at Como Park in St. Paul.
