Excellent lecture on Monarch biology and ecology

This is a one-hour comprehensive presentation by Karen Oberhauser, currently the Director of the University of Wisconsin's arboretum; she was one of the founders of the nationwide Monarch Joint Venture.  The level of discussion is directed toward adults, including the Master Gardeners in south-central Wisconsin.

  1. I knew you would eventually get around to the important stuff. This goes on my "reading list." Thanks!

    Monarchs really are important...

    1. Well, you can learn a good bit in an hour. The first 15 to 20 minutes alone are informative.

I am heading out today to add to my milkweed garden. Encouraging the proliferation of monarchs, and other butterflies, should be considered essential business.
