Amended - although I never did find a definitive source online. I thought castle/fortress was a translation variation, but I also see the painting entitled "Landscape with a Castle" (no bridge).
I also enlarged the embedded image while I was editing the post.
You misspelled "embiggening." Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteThanks - but I thought I was making up the word (I get tired of always saying "click to enlarge" "click to magnify" etc.)
ReplyDeleteToledo, Spain actually looks a lot like this minus the huge mountains in the background
ReplyDelete"Embiggen" according to Wikipedia, since 1884 (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/embiggen), but I like the use of "embiggify" for "click to enlarge."
ReplyDeleteWho knew? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust a little correction, the image name is "Landscape with a Bridge and Castle", not Fortress :-)
