Influenza mask, 1918. Gas mask, 1927.



The skull and crossbones on the flu mask were unofficial additions intended as a joke. The gas masks were issued to a Sydney fire brigade.

    Hi Stan, I love everything about your blog, except for its name and the way you spell Sydney. There is no i in Sydney.
