Selections from Moqo-Moqo
In my view the best nature photoaggregating blog, not only for the selection of material from the natural world, but for the crediting back to the sources for the photos. Here are the vias for the blue creature on the coral, the diving seabirds, the camo seahorses, the cleaners ?wrasse on the sea turtle, the tiger swallowtail evading the ducklings, and the flying manta ray*.
*correction - that's a mobula ray ("devil ray"), not a manta ray - and the maneuver is properly called "breaching," not (of course) flying. More at Wiki. Thanks, Zav!

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNot a Manta Ray but a Mobula ray. They are in the same family as Mantas but are a completely different species.
ReplyDeleteAlso not cleaner wrasses... Yellow Tangs - Zebrasoma Flavescens.
