"I spy, with my little eye..."
This looks like a walking stick (credit), but as reader Thorke Ostergaard notes, it "is not a walking stick/stick insect (Phasmatodea),
but a stick grasshopper/horsehead grasshopper (Proscopiidae)."
The curious critter is not a walking stick/stick insect (Phasmatodea), but a stick grasshopper/horsehead grasshopper (Proscopiidae) :-)
