How to catch a python
I was reluctant to blog this, because one hates to see such a magnificent animal die, but the methodology was so intriguing that I thought it was worth sharing. The dialogue is all in French, but you won't need it.
That one is a fake, the snake is obviously very dead (you can see the "handlers" moving the snake, not the other way around - and the snake is very flaccid, either partly skinned or (urgh) decomposed) ;-)
Reminds me of the southern sport of catfish noodling. (Youtube it.) Those guys are crazy.
