.52 caliber, 9 1/2-inch braided leather-covered barrel with brass frame and underhammer action. Folding trigger. Brass escutcheon on grip with coat-of-arms and legend: Day's Patent/P. Hubbard 26 Newgate St. Gun with braided whip attached, measuring 136 inches. One-piece walnut grip.I have a hard time picturing the practical utility of such a weapon. Close-up photos here.
