Somewhere this past week (?Reddit), I saw a suggestion that elected officials should wear clothing like that shown above on Valentino Rossi, MotoGP motorcycle rider - with logos showing what groups provide their campaigns with financial support.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea...

But would they be game to wear BP logos?
ReplyDeleteIf elected officials were as good at their jobs as this guy is at his, I wouldn't care what they wore.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Two thumbs up.
ReplyDeleteIt'd take a while to get all those logos added, but why not?
ReplyDeleteNow if only our leaders could be on camera constantly like our entertainers...
Racecar driver? This is Valentino Rossi. MotoGP motorcycle rider.
ReplyDeleteHe had 4 helmets made for the race this weekend near his home town in Italy. Each had the start time for practices, qualifying, and the race.
Things like this amuse Rossi and his fans. News to the folks that lurk on this blog for sure.
Thanks for the headsup, anon. I've modified the post accordingly.
ReplyDeleteRequiring politicians to dress like NASCAR drivers with their "sponsers" displayed on their clothing is from part of a Robin Williams stand up routine.
ReplyDeleteThat's not where I encountered it, but it's probably what inspired my (lost) source to generate the comment.
