Credit card skimmers
Consumerist has a brief report today about the discovery of a card skimmer discovered attached to the ATM at a Washington Mutual branch office. It's pictured above. The bank card would pass through the skimmer into the regular bank machine for a transaction, but while going through the skimmer, all the relevant data would be read from your card.
If you're not familiar with card skimmers, take ten minutes to read this excellent review. It has excellent photos and detailed explanations of skimmers and how cameras are mounted to read your PIN when you enter the number.
