A philatelic puzzle
No blogging today (State Fair time). In the meantime I wonder if anyone can guess why the DDR printed two stamps in 1956 to commemorate the centennial of Robert Schumann's death.
Inasmuch as the writing on the two scores are wildly different, I'd guess that one of them is not actually Robert Schumann's - perhaps William Schuman's (one N), or Franz Schubert's.
