"100 Best Films"

It's nice to see a list of "best films" that includes some unexpected choices - perhaps because it's more Eurocentric than most lists published in the U.S..
Fed up with formulaic "blockbusters" and overhyped cinematic turkeys? Anthony Quinn selects 100 timeless movie classics that never disappoint.
Citizen Kane is down on this list at #20.  Above it are surprises like A Man Escaped, Sweet Smell of Success, Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Conformist, and The Battle of Algiers.  I haven't browsed the lower 80 selections yet; I suspect other surprises will be in store...

  2. True that, Sue! I'd love to see this whole list but no way am I cycling through ONE HUNDRED times (you'd think they'd at least have 5-10 per page)! One movie per page?! Absurd!
