Brassicas are a wonder. I have gardeners in the family, and learned a while ago about this flower/stem/leaf thing. Very interesting to think about.
i was totally surprised the first time i saw brussels sprouts on the stick - i had no idea they grew that way.I-)
I was looking forward to reading about Jessica, Avril and Jade, the Brassica cousins, and their many exploits in the 1920s. But instead I was forced to 'eat my greens'.
