I first encountered ocean Jasper about 15 years ago and heard the same story about it being mined at low tide, Plus, it was already mined out, so get some quick before it's gone. I had always heard about the mining industry being a little loose with the truth, this was my first encounter in person.
I had always heard that it could only be mined at low tide. The pictures of the mines show that that may be true for at least one of the mines . . .
