"Things You Wouldn't Know If We Didn't Blog Intermittently."
I fell over a watershed about 8 years ago and stopped watching TV.Mainly because of the adverts but also the lack of intelligent content. The laugh track on the above skit reminds me of how much I do not miss TV.
Same here... I hardly ever see network TV.But I tried watching SNL the week of the election and it was unbearable. It seemed like there were more ads than show... and what show there was... was pretty weak.
SNL may be weak from week to week, but that ad is very good.I-)
I don't know about that...
my friend calls me, but does not leave a message on the machine. five minutes later, another call, saying that i have a text message and some numbers - except the answering machine picks up and my greeting cuts off the start of the 'you have a text message' which has the phone number i am supposed to call. just to add, i have a land line, so text messages are useless. and, my friend knows i only have a land line. that same friend has a free international calls calling plan for their land line. he calls, we talk for an hour, then he realizes that he is on his cell phone, which does not have that calling plan. a real quick good bye and a $50+ cell phone bill for him. i am not making that up. that SNL 'ad' - spot on!I-)
