"Things You Wouldn't Know If We Didn't Blog Intermittently."
This is very wordy and half funny and half insightful:http://www.extremelysmart.com/humor/cowsexplain.php Cows, Geopolitics, and Big Business
I wouldn't consider the requirement that you pay for entertainment a systemic inequity.
I think the "game" is a metaphor for things like education, housing, healthcare
Sure, it's a metaphor, but everywhere I've ever seen this posted, someone (sometimes many) say the wall should be built higher because the kids obviously didn't buy a ticket
Or we could all decide to behave decently and get rid of the wall and fence.
We can get all sarcastic and say, "Yeah, but they're still outside the fence," or we can take it in the spirit in which it seems to be intended: that there are things we can do that eliminate the need for these "artificial" supports. I like it! I don't know just what it would take to get to panel three in terms of things like discrimination (i.e., how to actually remove ALL discrimination), but sometimes just ASPIRING to something is valuable.
