Throughout the program(video) they picture this woman as very feminine wearing pretty clothes. There is no reason to believe she didn't wear the same clothing as other warriors. They might not of even known she was a woman. There have been numerous accounts of women in the military, some reaching high rank, who were not discovered to be women until late in their career. I've met women who could kick my ass and could very well have been warriors.
