After a two-week mental health break of hobbies and home activities, I'm back at the blogging desk. The polar vortex has returned, keeping me inside and the butterflies away, so I should be good to go for a couple more weeks.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Stan. I haven't found a better way to spend these few quiet moments in the morning with my tea. Your blog is entertaining and enriching - always feels like a positive way to spend this time.

Oh, yes. That was picked up by the Star Tribune this evening, and I noticed it while looking for sports results. I found some additional info from the numismatic convention. I'll blog it in the morning if I don't drool all over the keyboard.
DeleteYou are such a good blogger, I want to share everything you post. I even made a threat level graphic about my little sister. If you ever do give up the blog try to pass on your secrets (though I think it's less about sources than you just having a very unique intellectual curiosity).
ReplyDeleteWelcome back 'Stan from another of the daily "missers". If, at anytime, however, you do want to retire from doing your blog, I will completely understand. The statistics are over on the right hand side: in 2007? 19 items, in 2008? 2271, in 2009 3017 items, etc etc. It must be exhausting doing all that research about all the research that goes on about all the ologies and istories that particularly interest you, and then there's the effort taken to do all the tagging (also over on the right). If you wish to quit, there are still all those other blogs of interest to you: also over on the right! We, your fans, would just have to stop being lazy and investigate them, right? Best wishes from Alex in Australia...
