From what I've heard, the Greatest Generation (those who basically started this graph) married at a younger age then did their parents. I'd like to see the same kind of graph, but over a much longer period of time, beginning maybe 50 or 100 years earlier.
another interesting stat might be 'percentage of people over 21 who have never been married'

ReplyDeleteThe problem with determining graphical evidence with median is that there could be a difference of 1 million of 1 in the data they are using.
ReplyDeleteCertainly. But if a 100-year old person gets married and you use mean values rather than median, that would also distort the graph
