The whole fashion industry revolves around inventing reasons to arm-twist consumers to spend money to throw away good clothes that are not worn out to buy new ones. It's laughable that the theme is to produce sustainable clothes to minimize waste when the answer is simpler that that. Just wear the clothes you have already, or buy them secondhand!
The very image here illustrates the willful obtuseness of the fashion industry. This lovely “fashion” has spikes coming out that even prevent sitting down and it is made of paper or super thin fabric so that it can only be worn once. What a waste of effort and money and materials.
