It's not only Ted Nugent who's an idiot. I've heard of active surgeons ignoring the warnings and dying before they got their test results back.

I have a relative who is a physician. She recently discovered that newly hired physician is an ant-vaxer and will not take the covid vaccination shot. She was dumbfounded. What sort of medical advice would this physician provide? Should all of the other physicians be notified that this person was in their midst? Is there a right to provide medical advice that *you and only you* believe, won't harm the patient? I find it insane that a trained physician would take such an extreme position.
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic hit some folks harder than others, so rather than pivoting from "denialism to racism", these are stages of grief: Denial, Anger, and that cheeky "one through 18" argument almost sounds like Bargaining.
