But that was so long ago
That I can scarcely feel the way I felt before.
And if time could heal the wounds
I would tear the threads away
That I might bleed some more.
That I can scarcely feel the way I felt before.
And if time could heal the wounds
I would tear the threads away
That I might bleed some more.

ReplyDeleteOl' Gord was trending on the Twit yesterday. Turns out yesterday was the 47th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

DeleteThe addendum I added yesterday goes to an interesting PBS video of a lecture by a meteorologist about the weather phenomenon that sank the ship.
Now I will have to add this song to my "to learn" list.
ReplyDeleteHis "Early Morning Rain" was recorded as a demo in 1965 by the group that later became the Grateful Dead. One of his better and more memorable songs.
