"This is what end of life looks like in the U.S. My wife had insurance she paid $500 per month for. The bottom two bills are for $400,000 the rest are between $50 to $5000. Sudden cardiac arrest at 47. I did CPR. Huge mistake. She lived two weeks in intensive care then told she was brain dead.?
O! A subject I could go on & on about... As an ICU nurse, how many times did I see families want to keep Gramma alive so they could continue to receive her SS/retirement/Medicare benefits... How many times have heard docs say "Well, let's give him/her 3 more days, just to be sure..." when it was blatantly obvious the pt. was brain dead.

This is horrible. No one should have to go through this. National health should be the right of every citizen
