What is the missing number?

The circular arrangement is just a design feature, not part of the math.  The puzzle could also have been written out 2,3,4,5,6,8,12...?

    1. To explain the answer 30, these are the numbers which don’t include the letter ‘n’ when you spell them out

  4. The "12" should be a "10" and the "?" is then "16":

    2+4=6, 3+5=8, 4+6=10, 6+10=16

  6. You misled us when you said "part of the math". No math involved...

    1. I could argue that counting is math, and one wouldn't know the number after 12 without counting. But OTOH I was certainly trying to mislead everyone.
