ReplyDeleteMy "statistics" are not meant to be valid or predictive. I simply thought it would be fun to see what kind of distribution of opinion there is among TYWKIWDBI visitors. I have tended to be hard on McCain/Palin, and may have driven away some supporters (except for I think three stalwarts who visit here often).
ReplyDeleteI opened up the "voting" to non-U.S. residents because the latest Google Analytic statistics show that this blog has visitors from 118 countries and they constitute about 1/3 of all visitors. I know data from several international polls suggest non-U.S. people favor Obama over McCain and I'm curious to know whether it is the same for people coming here.
I'm a left-leaning centrist and am voting McCain/Palin; Obama's too far left for me. I've already decided how I will vote on every issue on my ballot. It turns out that I'm voting for exactly as many Democrats as Republicans.
ReplyDeleteAccording to legend, if the Redskins win their homegame, the party with the highest popular vote in the last election wins. The Steelers beat the Redskins, therefore, Obama will win.
ReplyDeleteI think I must be one of the three stalwarts. Stan - don't worry about being hard on McCain/Palin. I'm the same way on my own blog about Obama. It's discourse like ours that lets us get past things like campaign speeches and promises and look at issues and facts. I've enjoyed reading your blog.
