The overall image is a bit distorted from using a wide-angle lens indoors, but it does show that a wooden bar has been fixed diagonally across the lower portion of this door. Its purpose is totally obscure - until you open the door...

ReplyDeleteWhich quicker suggests the horror genre to you, basement? or attic? For me, it's basement, amplified if there are several rooms down there with hasps on the doors, and if there's a shower head and a drain in the floor.
