Thanks for this. Lifelong sportsballphobe but I would go watch these guys. Maybe it's not that impressive an admission insofar as what I like most about them is the idea that the ballgame itself is not primary.
You might want to check out the episode The Dollop recently did on the House of David. A religious cult in the early nineteenth century that played against professional baseball teams.
