How to take small portions of condiments on a picnic
It's very annoying to make a great sandwich with mayonnaise and later find the bread soggy. Lifehacker shows a simple way to transport small quantities of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise for application just before consumption.
Thank you thank you thank you! I've often used my mom's little tiny Tupperware things - about the size of shot glasses. But who needs that much mustard for one sandwich?
I've seen blogs where people pack bento or school lunches and include condiments in oral medication syringes (IE, they don't have needles).
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea - and with the syringe you could just suck the material up from the original container.

ReplyDeleteAnd in the olden times..... film canisters.
ReplyDeleteDamn, they were handy.
I still have some and still use them for storing things.

ReplyDeleteI use a case like this to carry a little petroleum jelly (for chapped lips) and hand lotion.
