"How does that work?"
"Well, let me see, now. They've got the Republican Party, you see, which is the equivalent of our Conservative Party. And then they have the Democratic Party, which is the equivalent of our Conservative Party."

ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in California (we're Canadians), we used to be amazed by how people thought the Democrats were socialists. To us, it was exactly what you quoted above -- the Democrats were like our Conservatives and so were the Republicans. Shades of difference.
