When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed.
Unfortunately, the e-mail response to Swansea council said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated".
You'd have thought that the speed with which the reply came back would have been the first hint that something was up. No matter how good a translation agency is, it's going to take more than a few seconds to come back with the text.
ReplyDeleteBit weird that the out of office wasn't in both Welsh and English too but I'm betting it is now. :P
